About Token Solution Kiosk
A token solution kiosk (also known as a token dispenser kiosk) is a self-service machine used for queue management and crowd control.
Its primary purpose is to eliminate physical, disorderly lines and replace them with a fair, organized, and efficient virtual waiting system. Customers use the kiosk to get a "token"—typically a printed ticket with a unique number—which holds their place in the queue.
How a Token Solution Kiosk Works: The 4-Step Process
Selection: A customer approaches the kiosk and uses a simple touchscreen interface to select the service they need (e.g., "Cash Deposit," "Doctor's Consultation," "Bill Payment").
Dispensing: The kiosk instantly prints a physical token.
Waiting: The customer can now wait comfortably in a designated seating area, free from the stress of standing in a physical line.
Notification: The system calls the token number when it's the customer's turn. This is typically done:
Visually: On large digital display screens (e.g., "Token A-105, Please go to Counter 3").
Audibly: Through an automated voice announcement.
